Formula and assumptions

The estimate adds concrete volume (including waste) multiplied by your price per cubic yard, delivery, labor, demolition, and other entered costs.

What affects a concrete estimate?

Material price, delivery minimums, access for the truck, pumping needs, demolition, disposal, labor, reinforcement, forming, finishing, permits, and site preparation can all affect the final price. Add costs only when they apply and confirm each amount locally.

Worked example

For a 20 × 10 ft slab at 4 inches, the base volume is about 2.47 yd³. With 10% waste, the material quantity is about 2.72 yd³. At an example price of $175 per yd³, the material line would be about $476 before delivery or other work.
